Sanosaka Snow Resort

Sanosaka Snow Resort is a family-friendly hill bordered by both forest and lake. Roughly 80% of all the runs are beginner to intermediate, and one can enjoy the splendid winter scenery of Lake Aokiko from some places on the mountain. Sanosaka also boasts one of the best competitive mogul courses in the country, making this a resort with something for everyone.

Hakuba Goryu Snow Resort

With snow sports rentals, restaurants, and shopping all in one convenient area, Escal Plaza is your starting point for a day of adventure. Goryu offers a wide variety of trails, the largest night skiing area in the Hakuba Valley, and events all winter long making it a favorite with younger winter sports enthusiasts, especially snowboarders. From the top of the mountain one can also access Hakuba 47, and both resorts can be enjoyed on the popular dual mountain pass.

Hakuba 47 Winter Sports Park

Hakuba 47 is proud to operate one of the most popular resorts in the Hakuba Valley. Our extensive terrain park includes a halfpipe, all levels of jumps, as well as many other features. Watching the people in the park from the lift can be almost as much fun as skiing and riding on our freshly groomed runs. In addition, you can access Goryu Snow Resort from the top of the mountain, and enjoy both areas on a dual pass.

Not only did Happo-One host several disciplines of the 1998 Winter Olympics, it has remained one of the holy Japanese mountains for those who worship powder snow with their skis and boards. Happo-one has something for everybody, from the compete beginner to seasoned veteran. With a diverse selection of restaurants, runs up to 8 km long, and an amazing variety of terrain, there is much more to Happo-One than can be experienced in just one day.

Hakuba Iwatake Snow Field

The top of Iwatake offers a stunning 360 panorama of the Northern Alps and beyond. Iwatake offers many wide, gentle slopes where even a beginner can enjoy the view as they descend from the gondola. Iwatake also offers advanced runs, a well-maintained terrain park and cross country skiing trails, resulting in one of the most beautiful, well-rounded winter experiences in the Hakuba Valley.

This fascinating ski ground set among the 3,000m high Northern Alps with an abundance of natural snow is the largest in the Hakuba Valley. The course is 1,000m in width and 5,000m-long. The 4,000m-gondola, one of the foremost in Asia, stretches almost to the top of the resort. The resort includes kids & beginner areas, long runs of powder snow and hot springs. This ski resort is pleasant, peaceful and can be enjoyed by everyone from beginners & families to experts.

Hakuba Norikura Ski Resort

This romantic location, which can almost seem as if it were a private resort, is both fascinating and boasts a magnificent view of the northern most Northern Alps. The wide ski ground, rich in variation, has beginner’s runs that can be enjoyed by families skiing in peace, an advanced run with a peak incline of 38 degrees and a mogul run. Scoot riding, telemark skiing and snowshoeing can all be enjoyed on the slopes, which contain ungroomed, natural powder snow.

Hakuba Cortina Ski Resort

Boasting the greatest amount of snowfall in the Hakuba Valley, the courses through the trees and on the ungroomed slope are hugely popular. The ski slopes are not the only attraction of this resort. The Hotel Green Plaza, the largest in the Hakuba Valley, not only provides 257 rooms for guests but also hot spring facilities on the premises. The restaurants offer a wide range of menus for dinning including Japanese, Italian and fast food to café menus with delicious cappuccinos and sweets. You’ll enjoy blissful moments of hot spring bathing after skiing and boarding.
